The Memorial Sea-Hawks men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Fredericton this weekend to compete in the AUS Championship. The teams are coming off a strong showing on October 5th in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

The women's team will look for strong showings from Jade Roberts and Nicole Hollohan. Roberts finished 4th in the women's 6K race with a time of 00:23:37.94, while Hollohan finished in 6th place, finishing with a time of 00:24:02.77. Katrina Lynn Picco also had a strong outing, finishing in 8th place with a time of 00:24:04.40.

The men's team will need a strong outing from Levi Moulton in order to have some success this weekend. Moulton finished in 3rd place in the men's 8K in Wolfville, with a time of 00:26:54.94. Memorial also had two other runners finish in the top half of the competition with Nick Snow finishing in 13th with a time of 00:28:22.82, and Phoenix Tashlin Clifford who finished in 14th with a time of 00:28:29.43.

If the Sea-Hawks can get strong performances from the athletes above, then they have a great chance of competing for medals in the AUS Championships on October 26th. The live results of the event can be found on http://atlanticchip.ca/ following the event.
