Athlete / Team Travel

At the beginning of each semester, athletes may pick up a letter signed by the Director of Athletics outlining that you are a varsity athlete and acknowledging that you will be traveling throughout the semester representing Memorial University in competition. All team practice and travel dates/times for the semester will be listed on the letter.

All student-athletes should visit each of their professors with a letter early in the semester. This will assist in the case that alternate arrangements need to be made to accomodate a missed class, lab, etc, due to travel.

Additional documentation can be provided as necessary based on requests from professors. Athletes should not wait to visit faculty members after they have missed a class, lab, exam or assignment as a result of varsity travel.

Letters will be given to coaches for distribution. Should athletes require additional letters please contact the coordinator of varsity athletics.
