Todd Martin has an extensive background in volleyball as a coach, referee, and administrator. Todd is currently in his 15th season helping with the Memorial University women’s varsity team and will be back with the Sea-hawks program for the 2023 season. 

Some of his fondest memories include: having been Vice President of Volleyball Canada, a coach of the last MUN team to win an AUS championship, being selected as a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Volleyball Hall of Fame, and continuing to share his knowledge and love of the game with upcoming athletes. He says that he may be the only person to have both refereed and coached in all ten Canadian provinces.

“I have so many fond and positive memories from volleyball. I love sharing those memories with younger athlete and passing on the things I have learned. There is nothing nicer than seeing the reaction of a young athlete learn a new skill or conquer a challenge. Nothing can beat that look when they realize that they can achieve when they try.”
