Sea-Hawks Head to Moncton for 3-Game Set

The Memorial Sea-Hawks (1-8) return to the court this weekend for a three-game series versus the Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-8), a trio of crucial games for positioning. The matches will mark the return to play following the omicron forced absense.

If the Sea-Hawks want to find success in their upcoming weekend series, their dynamic duo of Cecilie Dumaresque and Sarah Trowbidge will have to continue doing their thing from the attacking line. Both players rank within the top-10 in the AUS in kills, with Dumaresque totalling 71 (8th in AUS), and Trowbdridge posting 79 (5th in AUS), once again the pair will have to be at their best this weekend. On the defensive side of the ball, Erin Grabka has been stellar from the libero position, totalling 102 digs (6th in AUS) so far this season and an average of 3.29 digs/set (9th in AUS).

The Moncton Aigles Bleues head into this weekend looking to distance themselves from the Memorial Sea-Hawks in the AUS standings, as the playoffs approach. The Aigles Bleues run an extremely balanced attack, with 6 players posting between 35-55 kills so far this season, those include: Joanie Arsenault (55), Ivana Urquhart-Mladineo (49), Sara Chiasson (42), Abigail Pallister (40), Anna Paquette (36), and Kyana Sivret (35). That balanced attack, combined with the tremendous defensive contributions from Emily Robichaud team-leading 87 digs and Joanie Arsenault's 84 digs, both stifling opponents attacks on a regular basis.

This weekend's series kicks off on Friday, February 18th at 7:00 PM AST, with the following games taking place on Saturday at 7:00 PM AST, and 12:00 PM AST on Sunday.
