Heading into the 2022-23 season, the Sea-Hawks men will be returning a few members of last year's squad that had significant impacts throughout the season. One of the top swimmers in all of the AUS last season, Matthew Whelan returns for his second season after a great finish to the season at the AUS Championship. Whelan placed 1 st in the 400 M backstroke, 2nd in both the 400 M freestyle and individual medley, and also grabbed 3 rd place in the 100 M backstroke. He's sure to feature large at the Sea-Hawks first meet of the season. 5th year Reilly Swain also figures to add to the Sea-Hawks cause, placing 3rd in the 50M breastroke and putting together strong performances in other disciplines. The squad also returns 2 of 4 players from their 3 rd place finish in the 800 M freestyle relay (Matthew Whelan, Logan Palmer).
This year's rendition of the Sea-Hawks women's swim team is sure to make a lot of noise in AUS conference play, returning a few key members from last year's squad. Kate Williams and Heidi Perry are both coming of great performances last season, featuring multiple top-3 finishes from the 2022 AUS Championships. Perry grabbed top spot in the 100 and 200 M butterfly in the event, while Kate Williams nabbed 1 st place in the 200 M backstroke and 3 rd in the 100 M backstroke. The Sea-Hawks also found success in the 400 M Medley Relay at last seasons AUS Championship and are returning 2 players from that team in Kate Williams and Heidi Perry.
