The Sea-Hawks Set to Face the Top Two Teams in the AUS

The Sea-Hawks Women's soccer team is lacing up and hitting the turf again this weekend to battle the AUS' current top two teams. Memorial currently sits at third place with 16 points, tied with Acadia. Zoe Rowe currently leads the Sea-Hawks with 9 goals followed by Claire Langille and Kate Hickey with 2 each. The Sea-Hawks have 2 strong goalkeepers, Shannon Galway with a save percentage of 0.788, second in the AUS and Claire Winsor close behind with a save percentage of 0.750.

The Sea-Hawks will face the second place Cape Breton Capers on Friday who currently sit at 21 points with 7 wins and 1 loss. The Capers are led by Alliyah Rowe who has netted 13 goals and assisted 3. Rowe is expected to come out of the gates firing as she leads the AUS with 49 shots. The Capers hold the top goalie in the AUS, Ellie Lancaster who has a save percentage of 0.839.

The second game of the weekend is against the first place St. FX X-Women who have yet to lose a game yet, sitting with 9 wins and a clean 27 points. St. FX Amanda Smith leads the league in goals and points, with 14 goals and 3 assists. Smith is second in the league in shots with 47. Between the pipes for the X-Women is Christina Gentile who currently has a save percentage of 0.786 with 11 saves on 14 shots.
