Sea-Hawks look for win after last weekends 0-1-1

Memorial snagged two wins in their home-opener versus SMU with a 6-0 shut-out followed by a strong 5-1 win. Last weekend the Sea-Hawks fell 0-1 against UNB but in the second day of their road trip finished in a scoreless tie versus Moncton.

In their match-up versus the Reds, Sea-Hawks forward Holly O'Neill continued to dominate in the front, having the most shots on goal for the squad. Fourth year Chantel Armstrong of Tors Cove also left her mark. The defender played a full 90 minutes of agrresive defensive to help limit the Reds scoring opportunities.

In the second day of last weekends travel, Holly O'Neill did it again with five shots on goal versus the Moncton Aigles Bleus. Also sparking the offense was last week's Subway athlete of the week Stacey Hanlon. To cap off the offensive power was rookie Bethany Hynes, whom Coach Power predicted would confirm her role.

Last season when the Sea-Hawks made the road trip to UPEI they left with a tie and win. They will challenge hard again this weekend in hopes of finishing with the latter. With Memorial's momentum building this season they also have a good opportunity for a better result this season against Mount Allison after a scoreless tie last time they met.
