The Memorial Sea-Hawks (1-1) hit the road to battle the UNB Reds (0-2) 

The Memorial Sea-Hawks Men's Basketball team gained a win and a loss last weekend white hosting the UPEI Panthers. The Sea-Hawks gained the first win. After the first quarter, the Panthers were able to pull a 1 point lead but for the remainder of the game, the Sea-Hawks were able to stay on top and win the game 79-76. #13 Emmanuel Ring led the Sea-Hawks with 23 points, followed by #14 Nick Tuff with 19.

The second game of the series ended in a win for the Panthers. Opening the match for the Sea-Hawls was Nick Tuff with an impressive 3 pointer. Memorial was up by 5 heading into the second quarter. The Panthers then were able to find more points than their opponent in each following quarter resulting in a 72-61 loss for the Sea-Hawks. Once again, Memorials top point leader was #13 Emmanuel Ring with 20 trailed by #14 Nick Tuff with 15.

The Sea-Hawks will be looking to gain some road points this upcoming weekend where they are set to face the UNB Reds. The UNB Reds fell short in each of their opening games against the St.FX X-Men with scores of 90-86 and 94-74. Point Leader for the Reds is #1 Marcus Barnes averaging 20 points per game. Point Leader for the Sea-Hawks is #13 Emmanuel Ring averaging 21.5 points per game.
