As the Memorial Sea-Hawks (2-4-1) head into the latter part of their schedule, the games
become more and more meaningful, starting with this weekend's road trip to face the UNB
Reds (5-1-1) and the Mount Allison Mounties (0-6-1). With only 5 games remaining on the slate
for the Sea-Hawks, every game will be critical for playoff positioning.

Just prior to the Thanksgiving break, the Sea-Hawks were able to split a pair of home games
with the high-flying St. FX X-Men and will try and carry their quality play into this weekend. One
of the bigger standouts on the Sea-Hawks through their opening 7 games has been midfielder
Felly Elonda, his ability to control the pace through the middle of the field is recognized
throughout the AUS. Elonda also leads the team in goals (2) and is tied for the team lead in
points (3), as teammates Jacob Grant and Brent Hennebury both have 3 points to their name.
Goalkeeper Daniel Hanlon has taken the net for the majority of the Sea-Hawks games this
season, posting a 1-3-0 record with a 0.581 SV% and a 2.60 GAA, while Kirk Edwards started the
other two contests, posting a 0.818 SV% and 1.00 GAA with a clean sheet. Sea-Hawks coach
Noel Stanford realizes the importance of the upcoming games, "We have 5 games left and
every point is important if we want to be part of the playoff picture".

The UNB Reds currently sit in 3 rd place in the AUS standings after their hot start out of the gate
and should provide a sturdy test for the visiting Sea-Hawks. The Reds are led by one of the best
dynamic duos in the AUS, as strikers Keji Adeniyi and Luke Rosettani have provided plenty of
offence on the season. Adeniyi leads all AUS players in goals (6) and his points (9) find him tied
with his teammate Rosettani for tops in the conference. Reds goalkeeper Louis-Charles
Vaillancourt has appeared in all 7 games for UNB, posting a 0.842 SV% (2 nd in AUS) and a 0.86
GAA. His performances through the first half of the season makes him regarded as one of the
better keepers in the entire conference. The two teams will do battle on Saturday at 3:45 PM
NST at the BMO Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The Mount Allison Mounties will come into the contest ranked 10 th in the AUS, however,
despite their record they will be extra hungry for their first win and should pose a challenge for
an urgent Sea-Hawks side. The Mounties have been a bit starved for offence in their first
several games, only scoring a lone goal, which was scored by Tevin Lewis. Despite their
depleted offence, they've gotten tremendous contributions out of their goalkeeper Rhys
Chambers. Chambers has appeared in 6 games, recording a 0.674 SV% and 2.33 GAA and has
produced 1 clean sheet. In order for the Mounties to escape with a good result, Chambers will
have to be at his best. The two teams will take to the field on Sunday, October 16 th at 3:45 PM
NST at Alumni Field in Sackville, New Brunswick.
