SEA-HAWKS WITH THE 2 WIN WEEKEND

SEA-HAWKS WITH THE 2 WIN WEEKEND

The Memorial Sea-Hawks have helped themselves in the standings with this weekend's wins, giving them a 3-3-2 record and handing Acadia another loss.

Memorial's Erick Mathiasen Fernandez had the first scoring opportunity of the game on a free kick from ahead of the eighteen, but Axemen keeper Nicholas Jeffries would make a phenomenal punching save to pop it over the net.

Alex Dolomount of the Sea-Hawks starts the team on the board in the 15th minute.
Minutes later in the 19th Harry Carter of the Sea-Hawks secures the team's second goal off the keeper's rebound.

Connor Kieth of the Axemen was the first of his squad to find a chance at the Sea-Hawks net in the 24th minute but Crichton would scoop it up.
Gordon McLaughlin of the Axemen put up a hard shot on the Sea-Hawks net in the 40th minute but it would just miss off the post.

Seven minutes into the second half, Jacob Grant of the Sea-Hawks scored to make it three for Memorial. In the 61st minute Tyler Kirby comes up with an unassisted goal for the Sea-Hawks. Kyle Williams of the Sea-Hawks scores in the 77th minute on an assist by Tyler Kirby

The Sea-Hawks had an active offense all match long and Acadia's keepers were able to make some great saves to keep Sea-Hawks goals limited. The Sea-Hawks play next on October 19th at Cape Breton and then on October 20th at St.FX.
