Moulton Turns in Another Strong Performance

The Sea-Hawks Cross Country team once again performed well on the road in Moncton this weekend.  Memorial sent three female runners and five male runners to this weekend's event.

Representing the women's team for the 6k event were Hannah Cooke, Danielle Seviour, and Katrina Lynn Picco.  Cooke was the Sea-Hawks top finisher with a time of 26:50.20 (18th overall). Seviour placed 21st overall with a time of 27:24.20, with Picco placing 23rd overall with a final time of 28:19.00. Carol-Ann MacDonald was the winner of the event, finishing with a time of 24:04.70.

For the men, Levi Moulton was again the top finisher for the Hawks. Moulton placed 4th overall with a time of 28:28.10. The top finisher was Angus Rawling from StFX with a time of 27:26.30. Tyler Cole turned in a strong performance for Memorial, finishing 9th overall with a time of 29:54.50. The Sea-Hawks other male finishers include Nick Snow (14th overall – 30:24.10), Alexander Pittman (24th overall – 31:56.90), and Aaron Wilcox (27th overall – 32:55.50).

The men were able to secure 3rd place overall in the team event, finishing behind StFX and Dalhousie.
