Sea-Hawks Sign Claire Langille

The Memorial Sea-Hawks women's soccer team is delighted to announce the commitment of Nova Scotia standout Claire Langille. A very talented and highly acclaimed winger, Langille represents a tremendous signing for the Sea-Hawks.

Hailing from Windsor Junction and attending Lockview High School, Claire's very accomplishment soccer resume includes Suburban FC, Nova Scotia provincial teams, and the REX program. She intends to major in sciences.

Initially hearing about Memorial's program from her coaches throughout her career, Claire stated "Memorial is a well-known school around here. I first got in contact with Coach Power after a tournament in Toronto." She adds "I'm excited for next season, and most looking forward to getting settled in a new place away from home, and having fun playing my favourite sport with my new teammates."

On the signing, Head Coach Mike Power notes "First of all, you have to see the smile on this kid's face when she plays soccer. Then, watch her dribble! Claire is a top-tier recruit who will add a very different aspect to our attacking play. We believe she has the potential to be a real difference maker in the AUS. To complete the whole package, she's also a terrific student and an overall class act. We can't wait to get her in a Sea-Hawks jersey."

This season saw the Sea-Hawks reach the conference semi-final for the 6th consecutive season. Coach Power will hope the addition on this dynamic winger can play a part in helping the team over that hurdle and towards the AUS Championship.
