The Memorial Sea-Hawks (1-16) wrap up their season on the road this weekend against the UNB Reds (9-7). Memorial has been eliminated from the playoffs, but with such a young team, they will be looking to finish the season on a positive note as they continue to prepare for the future. The Reds have clinched a playoff spot, but are still battling with the Saint Mary's Huskies for final seeding. Surely both teams would like to avoid the U Sports #1 ranked Dalhousie Tigers (16-0) in the AUS semifinal.

The Sea-Hawks dropped three home matches last weekend to the Saint Mary's Huskies. The Hawks played a strong game on Friday night, but were unable to turn that into wins the rest of the weekend.
The Reds defeated the Moncton Aigles Bleu in Moncton last Saturday by a score of 3-1.

Siobhan Fitzpatrick (UNB) – Fitzpatrick has had an outstanding season for the Reds. She leads the league in Kills per set at 3.65 and Points per set with 4.2.
Catherine Smith (Memorial) – Catherine has had a strong defensive season for the young Sea-Hawks. Smith is top 10 in the AUS in solo blocks and top 20 in assisted blocks. She continues to improve her offensive game and will certainly be an important piece for the Sea-Hawks moving forward.
