"We are very pleased to have local athlete Margaret Henley sign her national letter of intent to play at Memorial University, and become a part of our Sea-Hawks family. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunity to watch Margaret compete and learn as a part of our Sea-Hawks Volleyball Club. Margaret is a very dynamic athlete, who through her hard work and dedication has transformed herself into a top setting recruit. I'm very excited to see how she continues to develop at the U Sports level."

Margaret has been a member of the Sea-Hawks High Performance Club the past 3 seasons and throughout that time she has had the opportunity to train and interact with current members of the Sea-Hawks team.  It was through these experiences that Margaret knew she wanted to be a Sea-Hawk.

"Playing varsity has been a goal of mine since I discovered my love for volleyball 6 years ago. I've always looked up to members of the Sea-Hawks and was coached by many. The honour of representing my province doing something I love is beyond anything I could've ever believed and I know that with the Memorial Sea-Hawks is the best place to do it."
