The Memorial Sea-Hawks swept the Saint Mary's Huskies in thrilling fashion on Sunday afternoon at The Field House.  After earning comeback victories on both Friday and Saturday night, the Sea-Hawks once again played with their backs against the wall, trailing two sets to one to a tough Huskies teams.

Memorial jumped out to an early lead by taking the first set 25 to 22, but then dropped the next two sets 25-17 and 26-24.  In an exciting fourth set, the Huskies jumped out to a 21-20 advantage and looked poised to close out the game, until a Jordan Hutchison kill turned the momentum in Memorials favor.  The Sea-Hawks would close out the set 25 to 22.

Maddie Clarke put forth another strong performance for the Huskies, finishing the match with 15 kills, 11 digs, and 18.5 points.  Setter Emilla Conlon was also a standout for the Huskies.  She dished out 41 assists, while also totaling 9 digs.

The Sea-Hawks had three players register sixteen plus points, with Jill Snow finishing with 16.5, while Jordan Hutchison and Kier Fey each had 16 in the win.  Maiya Westwood had a game-high 53 assists, while also supplying 10 digs and 7.5 points.

The weekend sweep pushes the Sea-Hawks into second place in the AUS standings going into the Christmas break.  The team is back in action on January 13th, 14th, and 15th with the Acadia Axewomen coming to town.

The losses drop Saint Mary's into fourth place in the AUS standings.
