WOMEN'S SOCCER – SEA-HAWKS HIT THE ROAD TO BATTLE UNB & MONCTON

THE MATCHUP
The Sea-Hawks are on the road this weekend to play games against the UNB Reds and Moncton Aigles Bleus. Memorial is coming off a weekend sweep of the Saint Mary's Huskies at home, scoring 11 goals in two games.
UNB enters the weekend with an 0-2 record, but don't let their early season record fool you. The Reds opened the season versus the U Sports #2 ranked Cape Breton Capers and dropped a tightly contested match by a score of 2-0. The Reds then lost a 1-0 decision to the StFX X-Women who are expected to be atop the AUS standings as well this season. UNB is known for their defensive prowness, so the Hawks will be hard pressed to fill the net against this Reds team.
Memorial's second match of the weekend will be played on Sunday afternoon versus the Moncton Aigles Bleus who come in sporting a 1-1-0 record early in the season. The Aigles Bleus dropped a 4-0 match to Dalhousie last weekend, but bounced back with a 2-0 win over Mount Allison the next day.
In last year's roadtrip to New Brunswick the Hawks dropped their first match to UNB, while drawing with Moncton on Sunday. The vistors will be looking for better results this season as they attempt to keep their spot atop the AUS standings.
