Sydney, NS- Ciera DiSipio (Ottawa, ON), Rachel Leck (Pickering, ON) & Alyssa Armstrong (St.John's, NL) each scored singles for the Capers and senior Keona Simmonds(Brampton, ON) scored a pair of goals in the Capers surprising 5-0 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks. Keeper Rachel Yerxa (Mississauga, ON) turned aside 4 shots on the way to a clean sheet.
Turning point
Rachel Leck scored while falling down in the 8th minute which put the Capers up 2-0 early on against the 1st place Sea-Hawks. From that point on CBU kept attacking in waves and keep the usual potent Memorial offense at bay.
