SEA-HAWKS TAKE ON UPEI AND MTA

In their first away weekend of the season the Sea-Hawks met the University of New Brunswick. Memorial was able to keep their strong defense but couldn't produce the offensive success they were looking for. This went for both teams, as the match ended in a scoreless tie.The next day the Sea-Hawks went on to face the Moncton Aigles Bleus. After in an aggressive 90 minute match Memorial found themselves leaving with another tie.

More promisingly, the Sea-Hawks did score two goals in their second game, one by #9 Jacob Grant in the 10th minute and #11 Kyle Williams in the 25th minute. MUN was lucky to bounce back after some of the wind got taken out of their sales when Moncton player Adrien Nagy scored in the 1st minute of play. After battling back with two goals the men were able to play strong defense until the 75th minute when Nagy scored again for the Aigles Bleus.

Memorial goes into this match-up with a 0-2-2 record. A win here could play a big role in starting the Sea-Hawks in an upward direction. As for the PEI Panthers, they finished their last two games with one win and one loss which puts them at 2-3 so far this season. The Mount Allison Mounties will also come into this weekend looking for their first win with their current record of 0-4.

Offensive opportunities has shown to be the downfall of the Hawks so far this season but their defense remains strong. As they continue to move forward they are hopeful that with each game they will continue to play strong in their opponents zone and put up more shots.
