Sea-Hawks Looking for First Win

Sea-Hawks Looking for First Win

The Memorial Sea-Hawks (0-0-2) fly to the mainland for their next set of games to find goals that they couldn't earn last weekend. On Saturday they will take on the Mount Allison Mounties (0-2-0) and on Sunday they will battle the Acadia Axemen (2-0-0).

Memorial sits in 5th place in the standings with Mount Allison in last place and Acadia in 1st place. Acadia has scored 11 goals in just 2 short games, and four of Acadia's players are tied for first place in AUS top scorer rankings.

Captain Michael O'Brien will have a tough job ahead of him continuing to keep his back line secure, while the Sea-Hawks are still struggling to find a player who can find the net up front.

Head Coach Jake Stanford understands that "we need to get wins to compete for playoffs and so our focus is on the Mount Allison game, and getting our first win of the season".

Standout player from last weekend Fomba Fambulleh knows his team "believes in each other's abilities and are ready for a fight. We hope to get 6 points on the road this weekend".

The Sea-Hawks take on Mount Allison on Saturday at 4:45pm NST and Acadia on Sunday at 4:45pm NST. All games can be watched live on AUStv.ca
